		<description>If you read what the Tribune papers say they are doing, they are NOT going &quot;AP-less.&quot; They say they&#039;ll be using &quot;items considered vital,&quot; and &quot;sports statistics&quot; and other stories. In other words, they won&#039;t use AP -- unless they do. This is like going on a diet except for &quot;items considered vital.&quot;
I suspect the no-AP policy will go out the window at the first event like the Ft. Hood shootings. It&#039;s also interesting that they waited until after the elections to try this.
Are they going to kick Sam Zell off the AP board during this little experiment? After all, he&#039;s hardly considered vital.
