I&#039;d also guess that&#039;s about the amount of time a newspaper subscriber spends with the physical paper. But the really scary thing here is 12 minutes per *month* (or less!) on a local news site. That comes to an average of less than 30 seconds per day.

Clearly this is not working. Either the content is not compelling or the delivery method is not convenient -- or people who care about local news still get the paper on their porch? I dunno.</description>
