Marketing is now part of the job/brand of journalists and the &quot;job to fill&quot; for media in meeting advertisers&#039; social needs is just beginning. I was really impressed by Marchex&#039;s dashboard which tracks social media mentions (see localmediainsider.com for more)... until I found Cloud Profiles, recently purchased by ReachLocal. This allows SMB&#039;s to create a blog-like thingie with lots of sharing for a small fee instead of or addition to a web site AND track AND participate in conversations about their business around the web. Haven&#039;t tested it yet (although did start a profile). Has anyone else?</description>
